New Centrifugal Power Roof Ventilators

S&P has recently redesigned our Centrifugal Power Roof Ventilators to make them available in larger sizes with higher pressure options that are more economical and well prepared for coming energy efficiency regulations. With this redesign, we are discontinuing the DB, (e)RED, TXB, and TXD models and replacing them with the S-Series, equivalent model.

Use the below chart to see what models are replacing which product.

New Premium CHOICE Series Product is Coming Soon!

The PCD80XH is a new addition to the Premium CHOICE Series that will be a low profile unit similar to the PCD110X but, in a smaller size. The Premium CHOICE fans feature the most DC motors available to help improve indoor air quality and increase your home's durability by quickly exhausting contaminants and excess moisture that can cause health issues, mold growth, and structural damage. Look for this new product to be available soon to distributors near you.

New Multispeed Control

The EC Motor Multispeed Control is an interface for setting and switching between two independent motor speeds. This control is used when applications require high- and low-speed operations in restaurants, condos, schools and other facilities where manual/demand control ventilation is needed.

This multispeed control is now available with the STXDe, STXDeRHUL, SDBDe, eGED, eGSD, and eSQD units.

Recently S&P has developed a Claim Center for customers who received a product, part or accessory with any defects or damages. This new automated system is in place to receive return material authorizations, warranties, and damaged freight claims. New Sizes! Our Extensive Damper Line is growing.

S&P's Backdraft and Motorized Dampers are used in residential and commercial applications to regulate the building's airflow. We have expanded from our offering of just a 6 inch MD model to now including sizes ranging from 4 to 14 inches.

New reFresh Value Series

Our new reFresh Value Series is a simplified version of the reFresh Full Size and Low Profile models. Like these models, the value series introduces fresh air from the outside into the residence making this model an efficient choice with an economic advantage. The model is specially engineered to meet building and energy codes that call for ASHRAE 62.2 (2010), IRC (2012/2015), and IMC (2012/2015) requirements.

New MD6-ES24VK Product Kit

Our new Outside Air Kit combines the MD6 (our 6" motorized damper) with the ES24V (the temperature and humidity monitoring control). The control can command the central HVAC blower to help distribute fresh air through the existing duct work if necessary. It can be programmed to allow outside air to enter intermittently when the temperature is inside of your set temperature and humidity parameters. This prevents hot, humid, or freezing air from flooding your house all at once, while still meeting code.

This combination will help you meet the following codes:

• ASHRAE 62.2 - 2010 & 2013
• IRC 2012 & 2015

S&P USA's New and Improved Kitchen Supply Fan!

S&P USA is excited to launch our new KSFV Kitchen Supply Fan. The KSFV fans are roof curb or curb cap mounted filtered supply fans rated from 475 to over 12,500 CFM, with static pressure capabilities to 2-1/2". They are specifically designed for non-tempered, filtered make-up air in kitchen hood applications.

KSFV construction includes galvanized construction to provide maximum weather protection, long life and the utmost in performance efficiency. The forward curved centrifugal blower provides efficient airflow at low sound levels with static pressure capabilities to handle ducted air systems or hoods within a building. The filters are washable and are reusable to reduce maintenance costs.

Product Discontinuation Announcement

Effective March 31, S&P USA Ventilation Systems, LLC will discontinue the DB & TXB (all variations) sizes 24-30, and the KSF series (all sizes). This discontinuation is due to the availability of new models and series that are direct replacments. Below is a chart with a cross from discontinued products to all new products.

Please note the DB and TXB (all variations) have now been discontinued up to size 20 and the March 31 discontinuation extends the size range to include sizes 24 and 30.

On March 31, 2018, we will remove the discontinued models from Optisizer for selection. Any orders placed after April 1 for the discontinued models listed below will be automatically switched to the replacement series equivalent models. Please note any conversion from the old series to the new series at time of the order may incur extra charges due to differences in pricing and accessory options. At this time we recommend you take the following steps:

1. Review your open projects in Optisizer for quotes of the discontinued models
2. Edit your projects to remove the discontinued models and re-quote using the replacement models
3. If you are unable to convert a saved project due to engineering approvals or other reasons contact your S&P Regional Manager immediately to request approval from S&P to honor your quote for the old model for an agreed upon time frame.

We will honor all warranty claims on the replacement series for the published warranty periods for all discontinued products.

This discontinuation includes the following model sizes, with the replacement model sizes listed in the right-hand column:
